Jacqueline Everett

Director, National Trials, Australian Parkinson's Mission at Garvan Institute of Medical Research

Jacqueline Everett has a diverse work experience in the medical research and clinical trial industry. Jacqueline most recently worked as the Director of National Trials at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. Prior to that, they worked as a Clinical Trial and Clinical Governance Consultant at Clin Consult, providing advice and developing policies and procedures for clinical trials. Jacqueline also served as a Clinical Trial Manager and Manager of Ethics Administration at the University of Sydney, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting good governance of clinical trials. Jacqueline has also worked as a Medical Receptionist at Primary Health Care and as an Education Manager at Bellberry Limited, where they developed training programs for ethics committees. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate Regulatory and Start-Up Manager at Quintiles, coordinating the start-up phase of multi-protocol programs. Jacqueline also worked at Pfizer as a Research Grants Associate and at the Northern Sydney Central Coast AHS as an Ethics Officer. Before entering the medical research field, Jacqueline worked as a Dental Nurse at Lane Cove Dental Centre.

Jacqueline Everett attended UNSW from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with a focus on Zoology/Animal Biology. Prior to that, they attended Bega High School, although specific dates were not provided. In terms of additional certifications, Jacqueline completed a Risk Management Course & Corporate Governance from the Centre for Continuing Education in September 2018. Jacqueline also completed a Women in Leadership Course from the same institution in August 2018.
