Kathy Wu

Kathy Wu currently serves as the Founding Director of MyGenome Australia since May 2025. Wu holds multiple prestigious roles, including MRFF Lead Investigator at the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), Founding Head of St Vincent’s Clinical Genomics at St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney, and Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Notre Dame Australia. Additionally, Wu is an Honorary Scientist at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, a Conjoint Associate Professor at UNSW Australia, and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, reflecting a strong commitment to academia and research. Wu's past experience includes a Council Member role at The Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a Cancer Geneticist Staff Specialist position at Westmead Hospital's Familial Cancer Service. Education includes a Master of Medicine and an MBBS from the University of Sydney, along with Fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
