Kavitha K.

Kavitha K. has work experience in various roles and industries. Kavitha currently holds the position of Computational Scientist at Garvan Institute of Medical Research since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Honours Student at the same institute from June 2021 to August 2022.

Kavitha also gained experience as a Laboratory Assistant at St Vincent's Health Network Sydney from December 2021 to August 2022. In 2020, they worked as a Medical Receptionist at Cardiologist - Bankstown from June 2020 to May 2022.

Additionally, Kavitha had roles as an Events Committee member at UNSW Bioinformatics Society from February 2021 to December 2021, and as a KCCG Genomics Summer Scholar at Garvan Institute of Medical Research from December 2020 to March 2021. In their summer scholar role, they worked on developing a novel algorithm and transferring it onto a web-platform.

Before entering the medical and research field, Kavitha gained experience as a Dental Receptionist at SydneyOMS from an unspecified time in 2018 to October 2019. Kavitha also worked as a Tutor at Edu-Kingdom College in 2018 and as a Marker and Junior Tutor at Kumon Australia & New Zealand from September 2014 to December 2015.
