Renuka Gupta

PHD Student

Renuka Gupta is a dedicated PhD student and research assistant at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research since September 2021, with previous experience as a research assistant at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and a research officer at the Genome Institute of Singapore. Renuka has expertise in various research techniques, including cell culture of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), cardiac differentiation, and genetic analysis methods. Significant achievements include the successful transfer of patient-derived iPSCs to an automated platform, publishing a review in a prominent journal, and presenting research on stem cell differentiation at international conferences. Renuka holds a Master of Technology in Biomedical Engineering from Amrita School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from Manipal Institute of Technology.
