Vera Howlett

Vera Howlett is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of nutrition and administration. Currently serving as the Executive Officer at the Centre for Population Genomics at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research since March 2022, Vera also operates Vera Howlett Nutrition as a Nutritionist and Founding Owner. Previous roles include Administrative Business Partner at Google, Executive Assistant to the Centre Director at Garvan Institute, and COVID-19 Workforce Administration Officer with NSW Health. With a background in high-level administrative support from positions at News Corp Australia and Brighte, Vera has developed strong organizational and communication skills. Vera holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional Medicine from the Australasian College of Natural Therapies and a Diploma of Journalism from Macleay College.
