Athanasios Spiliopoulos

Athanasios Spiliopoulos possesses extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as the Site Manager for LNGC projects at GasLog since April 2006, overseeing the plan approval and construction of new 174k LNGCs at Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea. Prior to this role, Athanasios acted as a Senior Machinery Inspector for the construction of new LNGCs for BG Group and GasLog. Between September 2000 and March 2005, Athanasios held the position of Chief Engineer at Ceres Hellenic Shipping, focusing on chemical, oil tankers, and LNGCs. Educational credentials include studies at Chios Merchant Marine Academy from 1984 to 1987 and completion of high school from 1981 to 1984.
