Peter van Steenwijk

Peter van Steenwijk has extensive experience in portfolio management, risk optimization, and commodity pricing, currently serving as Manager Portfolio and Risk at GasTerra B.V. since January 2002. In previous roles, Peter van Steenwijk held positions such as Manager Pricing and Commodity Risk, Pricing Team Lead, and Coordinator Portfolio Optimisation, leading teams and developing strategies to manage commodity price risk and optimize gas contracts. Peter van Steenwijk's background also includes experience as Account Manager for Norwegian and Russian gas purchase contracts and contributions as a (Senior) Planner, where innovative models were developed to enhance production capacity calculations. Prior to GasTerra, Peter van Steenwijk worked as an Application Engineer at Philips Domestic Appliances, focusing on the development and ergonomics of electric shavers. Education includes a Master of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Groningen and a Bachelor in Applied Business Administration from AOG School of Management.
