The Gaston County Public Library System, consisting of ten facilities across Gaston County, includes the Main Library in Gastonia as well as the Belmont, BC@BC, Cherryville, Dallas, Ferguson, Mt. Holly, Stanley, TECH@Lowell, and Union Road branches.

The purpose of the Gaston County Public Library is to serve the citizens of Gaston County and be a vital, inclusive, and evolving resource dedicated to creating a connected, collaborative, and engaged community through literacy, recreation, and lifelong learning.
