Pat Sharp

Pat Sharp has a strong background in the field of research and sciences. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research until 2015. Following this, Pat joined the University of California, San Francisco as a Postdoctoral Researcher until 2017. They then transitioned to the industry and worked at Merck as a Senior Scientist, Chemistry from 2017 to 2021. Currently, Pat is serving as the VP Discovery Sciences at Gate Bioscience.

Pat Sharp earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Sciences from The Australian National University in 2007. From 2007 to 2012, Pat pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry at the same university.
