Sven Bösiger

Sven Bösiger began their career in 2011 as a Business Analyst at Enswico AG. In 2012, they joined KPMG Switzerland as a Senior in Advisory, Tax and Audit, where they led a team of 6 staff and several indirect reports on a variety of projects with the mandate of increasing company profitability. In 2016, they took on a part-time role as a Research Associate at the University of St Gallen, where they performed extensive research to form new and future educational content, prepared and implemented student lectures, exams and seminars, and researched, prepared, and presented the lecture \"Financial Advisory\", receiving the best rating within the university. In 2018, they were recruited by gateB as a Senior Data Scientist, where they provided innovative marketing and data related strategy solutions to customers through customer intelligence, marketing analytics, campaign management, marketing operations, multichannel publishing, and marketing automation. Sven also analysed and revealed a +20% upselling potential for IKEA. In 2019, they co-founded Meloncast, a digital product that analyses core insights to reach target groups and generate directly aligned content to company marketing goals. Sven built and led a team of 8 experts, including Lead Data Scientist, Lead Developer, Developer, Product Designer, and Advisors, to deliver the vision of Meloncast.

Sven Bösiger is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Machine Learning & Business Applications from the University of St.Gallen, which they began in 2016 and is expected to complete in 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Master in Finance and Accounting from the University of St.Gallen from 2012 to 2015. Sven also holds a Master of Science - MS in Quantitative Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the University of Basel, which they obtained between 2003 and 2009. Sven'seducational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Informatik from ETH Zürich, which they obtained between 2001 and 2003. Sven also holds certifications in Analysis of Unstructured Data from GSERM Global School in Empirical Research Methods (obtained in 2021), SAS Certified Programmer from SAS (obtained in 2018), Data Mining and Machine Learning with R from GSERM Global School in Empirical Research Methods (both obtained in 2018), and Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) Chinese Language Test Level I from Hanban Confucius Institute (obtained in 2015).
