Sam Pavitt has over 15 years of experience in product management and digital marketing. Sam started their career as a Product Manager at Hoseasons in 2003 and later moved on to become the Head of Product Marketing at Affinity New Media in 2005. From 2006 to 2015, Pavitt served as the Director of Product Management at Fruitful Media Ltd, where they focused on developing brands online and increasing sales through various platforms. In 2015, they joined Epos Now as the Head of Product, leading a high-performance product team and overseeing the functionality and user experience of the company's software. In 2017, Pavitt joined Awaze UK as a Senior Product Manager, where they managed revenue, digital analytics, and the digital product roadmap across multiple brands. Most recently, they have been working as the Head of Product at Gatekeeper since 2020, driving the development of vendor management, contract management, and collaboration features.
Sam Pavitt attended East Point Academy from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained two AVCE degrees. One was in Business Studies, and the other was in Information Communication Technology. In addition to their formal education, Sam has also obtained several certifications. Sam completed various courses from Google, including Attention Mechanism, Create Image Captioning Models, Encoder-Decoder Architecture, Generative AI Fundamentals, Introduction to Generative AI, Introduction to Generative AI Studio, Introduction to Image Generation, Introduction to Large Language Models, Introduction to Responsible AI, and Transformer Models and BERT Model. Sam also completed the Product-Led Growth Fundamentals course from ProductLed. Sam obtained certifications in International Agile Test Foundation, International Product Owner Foundation, and Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from Confex Norge AS. Furthermore, they completed the Cyber Risk Intelligence and Incident Response and Third Party Risk Management certifications from SecurityScorecard. Lastly, Sam obtained certifications in Advanced Google Analytics, Ecommerce Analytics: From Data to Decisions, and Google Tag Manager Fundamentals from Google.
