Emma Northup

Emma Northup is a seasoned marketing professional currently serving as a Senior Marketing Manager at Gates Ventures since July 2023. Previously, Emma held various roles at Cloudera, including Social Media Manager, where significant achievements included growing an employee advocacy program with over 400 active users and 690K+ in reach. Emma began her career in marketing at Bottomless as the first marketing hire, developing and scaling paid social strategies, and continued to gain valuable experience at Chair 10 Marketing, Inc., managing digital marketing campaigns for a diverse client base. Emma also completed a video internship at BuzzFeed, providing production and support in a fast-paced environment. Emma holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Washington.
