Farhad Imam

Farhad Imam is an accomplished professional in the health and life sciences sector, currently serving as Director at Gates Ventures. Previously, Farhad held the position of Senior Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and was an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics within the Newborn Intensive Care unit at UC San Diego. Farhad is also the Founder of Lumos Catheter Systems, Inc., and has held various roles at Harvard Medical School, including Instructor in Pediatrics and Clinical Fellow in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, as well as serving as a Resident in Pediatric Medicine. Farhad holds both an MD and a PhD in Biochemistry from Stanford University School of Medicine, earned between 1996 and 2004.
