Gregg E.

Gregg E. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Gregg is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer/General Counsel at Gates Ventures since March 2020, where they previously held the position of General Counsel starting from January 2016. Before joining Gates Ventures, they worked as the General Counsel at Porch from October 2014 to November 2015. Prior to that, they founded their own legal group called Evolution Legal Group in July 2008 and served as the Founder until September 2014. From March 2004 to December 2013, Gregg E. worked as the General Counsel at Market Leader, Inc. Their career began at Microsoft Corporation in December 1993, where they served as the Associate General Counsel for over 10 years, supporting various MSN internet properties and international legal groups. Prior to joining Microsoft, they worked as an Attorney at Perkins Coie from June 1986 to December 1993.

Gregg E. pursued their higher education by attending the University of California, College of Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) from 1983 to 1986. During this time, they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a focus on law. Prior to that, from 1978 to 1982, Gregg E. attended Reed College where they completed their undergraduate studies. Gregg earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, majoring in Psychology.
