Roland Gutierrez

Roland Gutierrez has a diverse work experience in the field of security and law enforcement. Roland currently serves as the Security Operations Lead at Gates Ventures since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. as a Security Program Manager from July 2020 to April 2022.

Before their role at Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc., Roland worked at AS Solution. Roland held the position of Senior Protective Intelligence Specialist from December 2018 to July 2020, where they directed and managed the Protective Intelligence program within Microsoft's Executive Protection Unit. Roland was responsible for identifying, investigating, and managing potential risks and threats associated with executives and members of the Board of Directors. Roland also conducted research and analysis of open-source intelligence and social media platforms for known and potential threats.

Roland's career in security also includes their tenure at ACADEMI (A Constellis Company) as a Personal Security Specialist and Lead Firearms Instructor from January 2012 to December 2013, and at Triple Canopy (A Constellis Company) as a Personal Security Specialist and Firearms Instructor in 2011.

Additionally, Roland gained valuable experience as a Police Officer at Bullhead City Police Department, where they served as a Narcotics Detective, SWAT team member, and Patrolman from 2005 to 2011.

Roland Gutierrez's education history includes attending Yavapai College from 2004 to 2005, where they earned an Arizona POST certificate in Criminal Justice/Police Science. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2002, they attended Fullerton College, but it is not specified if they obtained a degree during that time.
