Faizan Syed, CPIM, possesses extensive experience in supply chain management and production planning, having held significant roles at notable automotive and manufacturing companies. At Nissan Motor Corporation, Faizan served as Assistant Manager in Purchasing, leading sourcing, material management, and parts procurement projects. Following this, a role as Senior Buyer at Ford Motor Company focused on sourcing and purchasing for the Asia Pacific region, specifically in steel and stamping commodities. Currently, at Gates Corporation, Faizan holds multiple titles including Production Planning and Inventory Control Manager and Senior Production Planner, overseeing production planning for hydraulic hose products and ensuring inventory optimization. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Operations & Supply Chain Management from Great Lakes Institute of Management, along with a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, and further specialization in Supply Chain Management & Global Logistics from Seneca College.
