Jonathan Amo has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jonathan began their career in 1993 as an Automotive Military Specialist in the Army National Guard, where they gained experience in various roles such as Radio Operator, Supply, Vehicle Dispatch, and Vehicle Operator. After a decade in the military, Amo joined Midas International in 1999 as a Master Automotive Technician, specializing in store management and diagnosing automotive applications.

In 2010, Amo transitioned to the Gates Corporation, where they held various positions. Jonathan started as an Application Research Engineer, conducting automotive aftermarket research and initiating new product set-ups. In 2013, they were promoted to Senior Research Engineer, responsible for new product research, setup, and commercialization. In 2015, Amo became the Manager of Global New Product and Catalog Development, overseeing the development of new products and catalogs on a global scale. Their most recent role at Gates is Director of Global Aftermarket Product Content, where they are responsible for leading the global aftermarket product content team.

Aside from their professional career, Amo also founded and operated Landracing.com from 1998 to 2008. Jonathan was responsible for site development, including domain establishment and technical setup, and grew the website from a few hundred hits per month to millions of hits per month. Additionally, Amo maintained an online store for landracing-related merchandise.

Jonathan Amo obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Global Business Management from the University of Phoenix, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their education, they have obtained certifications such as ISO9001/TS16949 Internal Auditor from the ISO International Organization for Standardization in 2012, Sponsoring Member from iATN in 2002, and Master Automobile Technician from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in 1999.
