Gateway Group is a company registration specialist for mainland and free zone companies in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates; and, offshore companies in a selection of jurisdictions.

When setting up an onshore business in the UAE it is necessary to engage with a local partner in some way, either as a sponsor for a Limited Liability Company (LLC) or as a National Service Agent (NSA) for a Foreign Branch Office or Representative Office. Gateway's approach is to provide sound advice specific to our clients business activities' and objectives in Abu Dhabi so they can make informed decisions when incorporating.

Engaging with Gateway Group of Companies as the sponsor provides 100% beneficial ownership of the business (in the case of establishing an LLC), granting 100% management and financial control to the foreign party. Furthermore, a fixed annual fee means the foreign party does not relinquish any of its profits..

Engaging with a dedicated, professional, corporate sponsorship platform, such as Gateway's, foreign parties mitigate the risks associated with identifying and engaging Emirati local partners:
1) A structured approach to the arrangement
2) Business continuity in such times as succession
3) Simple exit strategy with no fees and no long tie in periods
4) Day-to-day communications are with an experienced, knowledgeable Western professional who will be available to attend signings as appropriate.

Additionally, Gateway boasts an Emirati engineer as a local partner - this is significant for construction and engineering companies intending to establish LLCs in Abu Dhabi as it will waive/reduce financial commitments as part of the 'Classification' registration process, once fully incorporated.

Gateway's structure conveniently supports entrepreneurs, SMEs and MNCs setting up in Abu Dhabi. it is also suitable for existing incorporated companies wanting to share transfer away from existing local sponsor arrangements.
