Laurence Field

Laurence Field is a charity leader and the founder and CEO of Gateways, an alternative education provider for young people aged 14-25 who are unable to remain in mainstream education due to social, emotional and mental health challenges. They began their career in primary and secondary schools and spent the past 15 years working in the Education and Community sector. They served as Gateways Director at JW3 London from 2015 to 2023, and previously were the Youth Connections Director at The London Jewish Cultural Centre from 2009 to 2015, where they founded the FUSION youth programme and launched related projects including FUSION Gateways and FUSION Schools. They sit on a strategic steering group for Barnet children's services.
