James Hatmaker

James Hatmaker has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. James most recently worked as a Software Engineer at Gather since August 2019. Prior to this, they were an Information Technology Consultant at Everywhere starting from January 2018.

James has also worked at The State of Idaho, where they held roles as a Cyber Security Consultant, starting in August 2019, and as a Cyber Security Engineer from February 2018 to July 2019.

Before that, they worked at Engine Media Group, where they were an Information Technology Consultant from January 2018 to September 2020, and briefly served as the Director of Information Technology from September to December 2017.

James also worked at Balihoo, where they were the Director of Information Technology from January 2012 to December 2017 and started their tenure as a Sr Systems Engineer from June 2010 to January 2012.

Furthermore, they worked at HP as a Development Lead from July 2006 to June 2010 and previously held roles as an IT Security Dev Engineer from 2000 to 2006 and as an Event Detection & Notification from July 1998 to July 2000.

James Hatmaker earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Boise State University, where they attended from 1992 to 2006. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including: Amazon Web Services: Enterprise Security and Networking from LinkedIn in October 2017, Learning Node.js in 2015 from LinkedIn, and Troubleshooting Your Network with Wireshark from LinkedIn in October 2017.
