Jon Mitchell

Jon Mitchell is the Lead Editor and Content Manager at The Colorado Springs Gazette, where they oversee the e-editions and direct coverage for both the Colorado Springs and Denver Gazettes. Jon previously served as a sports editor, reporter, and photographer at various newspapers, including The News-Review and the Glenwood Springs Post Independent. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Mesa State College. In prior roles, Jon contributed to web campaigns and multimedia features while managing sports sections and teams across several publications.
