Edward Trahearn

Edward Trahearn has over 15 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. Edward began their career in 2006 as a Money Markets Dealer at Alliance & Leicester, followed by a role as a Capital Markets Assistant and Marketing Analyst. In 2008, they moved to Santander UK as an ALM Analyst. In 2009, they joined Weatherbys Bank as a Treasury Dealer. From 2012 to 2013, they were the Treasurer at Ghana International Bank Public Limited Company. Edward then served as the Head of Treasury - UK at Habib Bank AG Zurich from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they held the role of Head of Treasury at Charter Savings Bank. In 2018, they were recruited as Director of Treasury at Belmont Green Finance Limited. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Head of Treasury at GB Bank. In these roles, Edward has been responsible for liquidity risk management, market risk management, cash flow planning, financial planning, dynamic loan allocation to multiple funding lines, operational data flow, negotiation of structured funding facilities, NIM management, interest rate risk management, operational control of structured funding facilities, policy and process design and maintenance, ExCo MI, and treasury operations management.

Edward Trahearn attended De Montfort University from 2002 to 2005 and obtained a BA(Hons) in Business and Marketing.
