Dr Bruna Pearson

Dr. Bruna Pearson, PhD, MEng, FHSA, MBCS, is an accomplished AI Technical Specialist at HORIBA MIRA since June 2022 and previously served as Lead Computer Vision Engineer at Audioscenic Limited. With extensive research experience at Durham University, Dr. Pearson focused on autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle navigation using Deep Learning, and contributed to educational efforts as a Senior Lab Demonstrator and Computer Science Tutor. Recognized as a Top AI Ambassador by Intel Corporation from 2017 to 2019, Dr. Pearson presented research at international conferences and championed web development education for women in STEM through Code First: Girls. Dr. Pearson holds a PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering and an MEng in Computer Science, Robotic Sensing, both from Durham University.
