Emma Harrison has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and digital strategies.
Emma started their professional career as a Social Media Intern at the Illinois Science and Energy Innovation Foundation (ISEIF) in 2014.
In 2015, they worked as an Editorial Intern at Environmental Finance and as a Communications and Marketing Intern at Indiana University Office of Sustainability.
In 2016, they served as a Communications Intern at The Conservation Foundation.
Starting from 2017, Emma joined Jasculca Terman Strategic Communications, where they held multiple roles. Emma started as a Digital Strategies Account Assistant and then progressed to become a Junior Digital Content Specialist, Digital Content Specialist, and finally a Senior Digital Content Strategist. In their role as Manager, Digital Strategies and Engagement, they directed a team of digital strategists and account assistants, leading and implementing full-scale digital advocacy and conversion campaigns for various clients. Emma also managed comprehensive digital advertising campaigns with significant budgets.
Most recently, in 2022, Emma joined GBSM as a Public Affairs & Strategic Communications Associate.
Emma Harrison completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism with a focus on Design and Visual Communications from Indiana University Bloomington. Emma attended the university from 2013 to 2017. In 2020 and 2021, they obtained a Digital Marketing Certificate from General Assembly. Additionally, Emma has obtained several certifications from Google including Advanced Google Analytics in January 2019, Google Analytics for Beginners in November 2017, Google Ads Display Certification in October 2021, and Google Ads Search Certification in October 2021.
