Rick Birdi

Rick Birdi is an experienced senior manager in clinical supply chain operations, currently serving at Global Blood Therapeutics since July 2021. Prior to this role, Rick worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions as a Clinical Supplies Manager and at Pfizer as a Clinical Supplies Project Manager, where responsibilities included developing investigational material supply strategies for clinical trials and managing cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and logistics. Rick's career began at Hospira Inc., holding multiple roles in deployment and logistics, culminating in the position of Global Deployment Execution Manager. Earlier experience includes logistics management at Telular Corporation and customer service roles in import and export with AIT Worldwide Logistics. Rick holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from DeVry University.
