Sam Bates

Sam Bates is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management, design, and technology. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager and Product Designer at LoopUp since August 2013, Sam collaborates with product teams to deliver timely designs aligned with brand standards and works with marketing teams to enhance initiatives. In addition, since May 2017, Sam has held the position of CTO at GBx Global, focusing on supporting British entrepreneurs and investors in the Bay Area. Previous roles include Graphic Designer at Sparticle Limited, venue supervisor at iNTERTAIN Ltd, and a technician at Cougar Network solutions. Sam's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Portsmouth and a BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design from South East Essex College.
