Sunniva Whittaker

Sunniva Whittaker serves as the Rektor at the University of Agder (UiA) and focuses on fostering a collaborative learning culture between students and academic staff. They hold a Ph.D. in French linguistics from the University of Bergen (UiB) and have a background as a professor and dean in humanities and pedagogy. Previously, Sunniva worked as both department head and prorector at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where they taught French for specific purposes and economic geography. Sunniva has also been a board member at the Bergen Center for Competition Law and Economics and GCE NODE since 2013 and 2019, respectively.
