Tim Woo

Tim Woo began their work experience in 2005 as a Software Developer at Navtel Communications. In 2007, they joined EmSoft as a Senior Software Engineer for a year. From 2008 to 2015, Tim worked at ViXS Systems Inc. as a Team Lead, Software. Their responsibilities included leading development teams, testing, debugging firmware, kernel level drivers, and application software for video/audio hardware accelerators. In 2015, Tim joined GDC Technology Limited as a Product Software Lead. Their role involved developing Linux applications in C/C++ and Python for digital cinema products, optimizing algorithms for scanning movies stored in storage devices, and leading a development team for web UI and web server in Python and Javascript.

Tim Woo pursued a Master of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 1997 to 2002.
