Toomas Seppel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law and data protection. Currently serving as a Lecturer at the Estonian Academy of Arts, Toomas has been teaching Intellectual Property since January 2008. In addition, Toomas holds the position of Product Manager at GDPR Register, an online platform designed to assist Data Protection Officers with compliance documentation. Prior experience includes advising on the EU copyright framework at the Ministry of Culture of Estonia, and serving as a Member of the Supervisory Board at the Estonian Authors Remuneration Fund. Since October 2012, Toomas has been an Attorney-at-Law at Hedman Law Firm, providing legal counsel to the music and film industries, startups, and other clients in matters related to copyright, trademark, design, e-commerce, and privacy law. Toomas earned a degree from the Institute of Law at the University of Tartu between 1997 and 2002.
