Benoit Laveau

Benoit Laveau is a Systems Engineer and Technology Maturity Leader at GE Aerospace, focusing on hybrid-electric propulsion systems. Currently involved in the AMBER Program, Benoit leads the validation of electrical power flow and advances technology roadmaps for product vision. Their expertise stems from a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, where they specialized in heat transfer and fluid flow measurements in gas turbines, as well as extensive experience in various engineering roles at companies such as Lilium, GE Power, and Alstom Power. As a Calculation Engineer at Lilium, Benoit managed a interdisciplinary team of engineers and ensured the certification approach for propulsion systems.
