Fernando Galván, Ph.D., is currently the Control Systems Lead Engineer at GE Aerospace, a position they have held since 2022. They previously worked as a Wind Turbine Controls Engineer at GE Renewable Energy from 2020 to 2022 and have extensive experience in research and development, including roles as a PhD student at the University of Southampton and as a Control System Engineer at GE Aviation. Fernando earned their Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Querétaro Institute of Technology and completed a Master’s degree in Mechatronics at Fachhochschule Aachen.
