Mark Bailey

Mark Bailey has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in laser technologies and materials engineering. Mark began a career at GE Aviation from July 2001 to July 2005, holding positions such as Engineer, Laser Shock Peen Program Manager, and CMC Machining Technology Engineer. Mark continued to excel in the field at GE Additive from June 2018 to December 2021, serving as a Principal Engineer in the Chiefs Office, focusing on optics and lasers, and later as a Consulting Engineer. Before GE, Mark managed the Laser Department at Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. from 1998 to 2001, overseeing the production and development of hole drilling and welding processes. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a DFSS Black Belt certification in Six Sigma and Statistics from General Electric.
