Max Tomlin

Max Tomlin is currently a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at GE Aerospace, where they lead the mechanical design of fuel nozzle aft heat shields for the LEAP engine. Previously, they held roles as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Davis Furniture, and as a Mechanical Engineer I and II at Gilbarco Veeder-Root. Max also served as the VT Formula SAE Engine Team Lead at Virginia Tech, engineering high-performance systems and developing race-winning performance maps. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and are pursuing a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina State University.
