Michael Castillo

Michael Castillo is currently the engineering manager for a fan and compressor design team at GE Aerospace Defense and Systems. With over a decade of experience as a design engineer and manager specializing in compression aerodynamics, they have led cross-functional, multinational teams to achieve technical and financial objectives. Michael's previous roles include lead engineer for aerodynamics at GE Aviation and participation in the Edison Engineering Development Program. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami, a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and an MBA from Xavier University with a concentration in Innovation, Change, and Entrepreneurship. Michael aims for a long-term career in executive leadership within an engineering organization.
