Mitchell Stern

Mitchell Stern is a Lead Design Engineer at GE Aerospace, where they define commercial engine systems architecture and engage in multi-disciplinary optimization. They previously worked as an automation engineer at a biotech startup, focusing on lab automation for chemical synthesis and biological assays. Mitchell also gained experience as a system engineering intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and completed a master's thesis investigating graphite oxidation for thermal protection systems. They hold both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
