Sunil Murthy

Sunil Murthy is currently the GE90 Fan Module Hardware Leader at GE Aerospace, serving as the primary interface between the Customer Team, Engineering, and Supply Chain/Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) to manage overall service costs. Sunil previously held the position of Engineering Manager for the GE90 Hot Section, focusing on module cost management and delivery. With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, Sunil has gained extensive experience in thermal design and validation, leading design teams, and managing thermal technologies through roles at GE Global Research and GE Aviation. Their leadership style emphasizes collaboration and the development of innovative thermal solutions for a range of aerospace applications.
