JayaRao Vuppala is an experienced engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and gas turbine technology. Vuppala's career includes roles at GE Power & Water as a Lead Engineer focusing on compressor rotor design and optimization using Six Sigma techniques, and as a Senior Engineer responsible for structural airfoil design and fleet issue resolution for industrial gas turbine compressors. Currently, Vuppala serves as the GE9X HPC Sub-Section Manager at GE Aerospace, following a tenure in product support for the LEAP program at GE Aviation. Earlier experience includes mechanical maintenance at Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd., where involvement in major gas turbine overhauls was notable. JayaRao Vuppala holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic, Visakhapatnam.
