John Rankin

John Rankin has extensive experience in the lighting and electrical industries, currently serving as the Midwest Lamp Area Manager at Current Lighting since March 2023. Previously, John held multiple roles at GE Current, a Daintree company, including Director of National Accounts and National Account Manager from January 2017. John's tenure at GE Lighting began in June 2011, where John advanced to Director of Strategic Accounts after serving as District Contact Manager. John also contributed to Cooper Industries Ltd. as Corporate Accounts Manager for Graybar in early 2011 and served as Regional Sales Manager at Cooper Lighting from 2008 to 2010. Earlier roles include National Product Manager at Graybar and National Marketing Manager at GE Lighting, with a marketing degree from Missouri State University obtained between 1985 and 1989.
