Lance Smith

Lance Smith is currently a Lead Engineer in Turbine Aerodynamics at GE Vernova, a position held since 2024. They have previously worked as a Teaching Assistant in Mechanics of Materials at the University of Florida and completed internships in Commercial Leadership and Productivity Engineering at GE Energy Connections and GE Power, respectively. Lance also participated in the Edison Engineering Development Program, gaining experience in various engineering roles. They hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
