Michael Meier

Michael Meier currently serves as the Non-Capital Materials Planning Leader at GE Vernova, overseeing a $50 million inventory with a team of six Material Planners across two warehouses in Europe and the US since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles at GE Power as Lead Material Management Specialist, responsible for forecasting and material allocation for Gas Turbine components, and various positions within the Operations Management Leadership Program at GE Renewable Energy, where notable achievements included significant improvements in manufacturing quality and the implementation of process enhancements. Michael Meier's early career featured positions at Schallttafelbau AG and Regatec Partner AG as an Automatiker, as well as leadership experience in the Swiss Armed Forces as First Lieutenant and Mechanics Platoon Leader for the F/A-18 Hornet. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in International Management and a Master's degree in International Business, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Engineering & Management.
