Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy, PMP, has extensive project and program management experience, currently serving as the Lead Services Project Manager at GE Vernova since February 2015. In this role, Michael oversees the execution of custom and cybersecurity projects, managing various aspects such as scope, subcontractors, change, and risk while ensuring quality and safety. Prior to GE Vernova, Michael held significant positions at Oshkosh Defense and Siemens Industry Automation Division, focusing on program growth, international project management, and profit-loss responsibilities. Michael's earlier experience includes logistics management for extensive security upgrades in Saudi Arabia, administrative roles within the U.S. Army, and various technical and leadership positions in both government and private sectors. Michael holds an MS in Administration from Central Michigan University and a BBA in Marketing/Business Administration from Cleveland State University.
