Tom Wright

Tom Wright is currently the Head of Technology Solutions at GE Transformers, having previously served as a Mechanical Project Engineering Leader at GE Vernova from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that role, Tom worked at GE Grid Solutions as a Design Engineer from 2015 to 2022, focusing on the design of large power transformers and reactors. Tom's early career included an engineering apprenticeship at AREVA T&D from 2009 to 2013, where they gained practical transformer manufacturing experience and earned an HND in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Staffordshire University, completed in 2016.
