Bram Peeters

Bram Peeters has extensive experience in the networking industry. Bram started their career at Nortel Networks as a Research Engineer, where they focused on innovation in networking technologies for optical networks. Bram then moved on to SURFnet, where they held multiple roles including Network Expert, Head of Network Services, and Program Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for the development, exploitation, and innovation of SURFnet's network and services. Following their time at SURFnet, Peeters joined Nokia as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing the delivery of new technology solutions to customers. Bram currently serves as the Chief Network Operations Officer at GÉANT, where they manage the development, building, and operation of the GÉANT network that connects European Research and Education Networks.

Bram Peeters attended Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Burgerlijk Ingenieur with a focus on Electrotechniek - Photonica. In 2008, they enrolled at TIAS School for Business and Society and completed an MBA program from 2008 to 2010.
