Chief Collaboration Officer at GÉANT

Cathrin Stöver has extensive experience in the field of research and education networking. Cathrin is currently the Chief Collaboration Officer at GÉANT, a leading collaboration on e-infrastructure and services for global research and education. In this role, they are responsible for developing and promoting advanced networks and e-infrastructure services, as well as fostering open innovation and collaboration within the research and education community.

Prior to their current position, Cathrin served as the Chief International Relations and Communications Manager at GEANT Ltd. Here, they coordinated networking activities in EC funded GÉANT projects and managed international projects across various regions.

Before joining GEANT Ltd., Cathrin worked at DANTE, where they held multiple roles. Cathrin served as the International Relations Manager, responsible for international activities and partner support in Europe, as well as fostering relations with the global research and education community. Additionally, they worked as a Project Manager, leading feasibility studies and establishing research and education networks in Latin America.

Cathrin also has experience working at Derby City Council, Black&Decker, and Haarmann and Reimer, where they held various trainee positions in marketing and business management.

Cathrin Stöver completed their European Business Studies degree at Hochschule Osnabrück from 1992 to 1996, earning a Dipl. Kfm.
