Edwin van Loon is a seasoned tax and audit professional currently serving as a Tax Control Framework coordinator at ING, where they are responsible for the design and implementation of VAT risk management IT solutions. They were previously the leader of the Indirect Tax Performance Advisory Group at Ernst & Young in the Netherlands and have extensive experience in indirect tax auditing and compliance. As the founder of Coopers & Lybrand's representative office in Bonaire, they built a successful team focused on delivering audit and tax advisory services. Additionally, Edwin serves as a member of the Audit Risk and Advisory Committee at GÉANT and has contributed to several professional committees and publications in the field of tax assurance.
