Matthew Scott

Matthew Scott began their work experience in 1985 at Herga Electric Ltd, where they worked as a Product Manager and Technical Sales Engineer until 1990. Matthew then moved on to Arthur Andersen, where they worked as a Chartered Accountant from 1991 to 1996. Following that, they joined DANTE as a Commercial Manager from 1996 to 2004, and then served as the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy General Manager from 2004 to 2009. In 2010, they became the General Manager at DANTE Ltd until 2014. From 2014 to present, Matthew Scott has held roles at GÉANT, first as the General Manager/Chief Programme Officer and later as the Chief Programme Officer.

Matthew Scott completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Mechanical (Agricultural) Engineering from Newcastle University between 1981 and 1984. Matthew also obtained the ACA chartered accountant certification from ICAEW, although specific dates are not provided.
