Toby Rodwell is an experienced professional with a strong background in network operations and service management. Currently serving as the Head of Service Management and Head of Service Assurance at GÉANT since June 2003, Toby leads the Service Assurance team and oversees service management and operations. Previously, Toby managed the Network Operations Centre at DANTE, where responsibilities included the design, implementation, and operation of the centre, which administers international networks. Toby's career began with the Royal Navy as a Weapons Engineer from September 1989 to February 2001. Toby holds a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, completed in July 1993, and attended Winchester College from 1984 to 1989.
