Dustin Hopper

Dustin Hopper is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and technical leadership. As a Senior SDK Engineer at Gearbox Entertainment since January 2023, Dustin contributes to advanced software solutions. Previously, at Renewed Vision, Dustin focused on integrating features for shared codebases and harnessing hardware-accelerated video processing. Dustin served as Technical Lead at Occipital from 2015 to 2021, overseeing a team in the creation and maintenance of APIs and SDKs across multiple platforms. As a Cofounder and Software Engineer at Lynx Laboratories, Dustin designed complex software architectures and led various development initiatives before the company was acquired by Occipital. Earlier experience includes research assistance at UT Perception Lab, where Dustin explored advanced processing techniques for reconstruction and mapping. Dustin holds a High School Diploma from Belton High School, completed in 2010.
