Ian Davis is a seasoned Technical Animator with extensive experience in the video game industry. Currently at Gearbox Software since November 2013, Ian specializes in creating rigs and animation tools using Maya and Python. Previously, Ian worked as a Rigger/Technical Animator at Irrational Games from July 2009 to September 2013, focusing on rigging characters and scripting animation tools in 3DS Max. At Sensory Sweep, from May 2007 to May 2009, Ian held the positions of Artist/Lead Rigger and Lead Rigger, where responsibilities included establishing rigging pipelines and managing animation teams for various projects. Ian began formal education in Computer Animation and Rigging at Columbus College of Art & Design, earning a BA degree from 2002 to 2006.
