Nathan Kight is an accomplished game designer with a diverse background in level design and gameplay development. Currently serving as a Game Designer at Gearbox Entertainment since January 2023, Kight previously held the position of Associate Mission Scripter at Aspyr Media and worked as a Level Designer at Mass Virtual and Glass Cat Studios. Notably, Kight led a team of 16 as Lead Level Designer at Axolotl Productions, overseeing all aspects of level design and gameplay development. Kight has also undertaken personal projects, creating engaging and immersive game environments, such as the dark fantasy map Isle of Bones and a first-person shooter level combining European interiors with sci-fi elements. Kight holds a Master's degree in Level Design from Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy and a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida.
